Hum Jungle Se Bahaar Aagaye, Inke Sath Baithne Lage To Inke Kapde Maile Ho gaye- Hemant Soren during no-confidence motion speech
New chief minister Champai Soren said, I will proudly say that I am part two of Hemant Soren government
Ranchi: The Champai Soren-led Gathbandhan government has won the vote of confidence in the Jharkhand assembly. In favor of the government, it received 47 votes, while 29 members of the assembly opposed it.
Before the trust vote, Chief Minister Champai Soren and other party leaders spoke, but it was the Hemant Soren speech which remained the highlight of the first day of the session.
Chief Minister Champai Soren gave a speech that included the works of Hemant Soren and his commitment to carry forward the initiatives of JMM’s working president.
The new chief minister began his speech with the words, “Hemant Hai to Himmant Hai (If Hemant is there, there is courage).”
The six-time MLA from Saraikela recalled the work done by the Hemant Soren government during the lockdown and COVID. He not only brought migrant workers from afar but also strengthened the health infrastructure. He neither let people die without treatment nor from hunger.
“The labourers who used to wear slippers were brought using flights. For two years, the state was affected by Corona, still Hemant Babu did work for the development of the state. During COVID and lockdown, Hemant Soren neither let people die without treatment nor from hunger, there are schemes in every village in the name of Hemant Babu, and you can not erase them,” Champi mentioned.
And pointed out, “Scholarship amounts have been increased, and talented underprivileged students are being sent abroad to study.”
“ED and CBI are being misused to establish a BJP government in the states. It is very dangerous for democracy,” the chief minister added.
Hemant Soren, who came from jail to participate in the no-confidence motion session accused the Jharkhand Governor of being part of the conspiracy, “It was probably the first time that a chief minister was arrested in the country. And I believe that Raj Bhavan was also part of it.”
His speech highlighted tribals and the corruption charges against him.
Hemant mentioned, “Our intelligence is not like our opposition, but we understand what is right and what is wrong. In a very well-planned manner, since 2022, a conspiracy has been on against me.”
He claimed that there is so much hate against Dalits and asked Adivasi from where they (BJP) get this much power.
Commenting on the anchor Sudhir Choudhury, report after Hemant Soren was sent to jail that tribals should be in the forests the former tribal chief minister said, “Inke log kahte hai ke jungle me the, to jungle mei rahna chahiye. Hum jungle se bahar aa gaye, inke barabar baith gaye to inke kapde maile hone lagey.
“Their behaviours, actions and statements prove their hate against us. I understand this and have worked against such a mentality,” he said.
“But we are Jharkhandis. Country was not even dreaming about freedom, since then advasis fought for freedom and rights,” JMM leader proudly said.
He continued attacking BJP, “Their friends have done scams of 12- 14 lakh crores, they could not act against them,” he pointed out and challenged, ‘If they have papers of 8.5 acres of land in my name, bring them before Vidhan Sabha. I will quit politics. When they cannot win the election, they will attack from the backdoor.”
An emotionally outgoing CM reacted, “I will not shed tears, I will keep them for other moments. They have no value for tears of Advaisis and backwards.”
And added, “Every conspiracy of theirs will be answered at the right moment.”
CPIML MLA Vinod Singh in his speech claimed that Hemant Soren’s arrest has nothing to do with corruption, else he would have supported it.
“Corruption’s definition as per BJP is– ones who are with BJP, are free. And the ones who are against them are corrupt,” said Singh.
He continued attacking BJP, “If it had happened because of corruption leaders like Himanta Biswa, Suvendhu Adhikari, Chhaggan Bhujbal would not have been with them.”
“There were corruption charges against Raghubar Das in the MNREGA scam, but he has been saved by appointing him governor,” alleged Singh.
In his rebuttal, leader of the opposition, Amar Bauri countered the speeches of the current and outgoing chief ministers and claimed that the BJP does not harm or insult tribals, as it has given the first tribal President to the country.
Meanwhile, Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra was in the state capital itself and hold a sabha too.
