Jaipur textile business shuts down over GST

Jaipur: The textile traders of Rajasthan have called for a 4-day long shut down over 5 per cent Goods and Service Tax (GST) on textile. The shops have brought down their shutter since June 27. On June 29, our photojournalist Chandra Mohan Aloria visited the most important textile business area of Jaipur, which is better known as Pink City, and saw that all the shops were closed. A day before the implementation of GST in India, on June 30, all kinds of business will be closed in Rajasthan as all traders have called for a shut down.
