[dropcap]A[/dropcap]fter nearly two years of tracking various places in the Yamuna and other rivers, I am sharing here my documentary on the Yamuna River and its journey. The video is edited by me though I am not a professional editor but we all have our issues and problems. Rather than keeping them on hold, I decided to put the video in public domain in greater interest to spread awareness about the crisis that the Himalayan rivers face when they come to the plain areas.

The commentary and narrative are put by me live during the action. The rivers in the mountains are full of energy and life therefore many times making things difficult particularly when we want to speak but I have kept some of these things to make you feel about the area and the location I am speaking.

I hope at a certain point in time, I shall be able to put an English narration. I am working on a book but felt that visuals too are important hence sharing this.

The author, Vidya Bhushan Rawat, a green crusader loves to venture out and spend time around rivers to understand and write on it, has also pen down about Ganges– Understanding the making of Ganga.
