Indian women celebrate teej with great fervour

Jaipur: In many parts of India Teej was celebrated today. In Rajasthan, most women celebrate it with great fervour. Many events were organized to mark the occasion. Comes every year in the month of saawan, women pray for the well being of their husbands. They put mehandi on their hands, dress up well and even fast. In Jaipur, Teej Festival was also organized in which, models in traditional Indian attire sashayed down the ramp. Ujjain, in Madhya Pradesh, is the other city, where it is celebrated widely.
